Italy is one of the most interesting wine producing regions in the world. Why? It produces wines in almost every region of the country, from the Alps in the North to the island of Sicily in the South, and most wines are made from specific grape varieties (there’s well over 500 varieties grown) that are unique to those areas! Mountainous terrain, volcanic soils, innumerable microclimates, and an ancient culture of winemaking make Italy the most diverse country in the world of wine.

This wine tasting will include examples of wines from all over Italy, some better known but we’ll also be including some that we (almost) guarantee that you won’t have tried before! Whites, reds and sparkling wines, all chosen for their uniqueness and interesting qualities, presented with information (but not too much) about where and how they are made.

If you enjoy Italian wines then you’ll definitely want to attend this tasting, but if you’re unsure about them or just overwhelmed about what to taste, then it will open your eyes to the great wines Italy produces.

We’re pleased to be back at our favourite venue in Bury, Oakes Barn. It’s a maximum of 20 people for this tasting so don’t miss out, book today!
