Join us at Oakes Barn in Bury St Edmunds on Friday 28th June to taste some stunning wines from Southern Italy!
While some of the big name Italian wines may come from Italy’s Northern region, the warmer Southern Mediterranean regions of Campania, Puglia, Calabria and of course the island of Sicily are home to some fabulous wines. The indigenous grape varieties of Falanghina, Grillo, Primitivo and Nero d’Avola may not be household names but we guarantee that you’ll love the wines that they produce!
We’ll be tasting sparkling, rosé, whites, reds and sweet wines. There’ll be something for everyone’s taste!
